At Broadway:

  • Visit Broadway Signal Box! Take a tour of the lever frame inside the Signalbox. Exclusive for this weekend only!

At Toddington:

  • Battle of Britain Memorial Flight on the 23rd and 24th May only - 23rd BBMF Spitfire will fly over Toddington Station around 12:30pm, circle three times. - 24th May, BBMF Dakota will fly north-south and circle three times over Toddington station at around 13:48.

  • Locomotive sheds open to view current projects

  • Trade stands including model railway and locomotive owning group stands.

  • Goods train brake van rides - A unique way to experience the line, ride on the brake van for a different view! First come first served, an additional ticket is required, pay on the brake van. Over 16s only.

  • Visit the Cotswold Halt Café, coffee shop & gift shop

  • Book signing at Toddington station with Roger Hardingham 11:00-15:00 on 23rd and 24th May only. The book signing is to launch the book 'Woodham's, Barry Scrapyard'.

  • Narrow gauge operating steam train rides

  • Visit the GWRT Office - they are open for visitors to talk about Membership and Volunteering at the GWSR.

  • Cross over to the adjacent venue for Steam at Stanway - a big event including traction engines, rides and much more! 

At Winchcombe:

  • Carriage & Wagon workshops open to view projects

  • Viewing area beyond C&W workshops

  • Griddle & Coffeepot Tea Room

  • Discovery coach and model railway coach.

At Gotherington:

  • 23rd May, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Spitfire will will circle in the vicinity of Gotherington Station at around 12:40.

  • 24th May, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Dakota will circle in the vicinity of Gotherington Station at around 13:58.

  • Private station grounds open specially courtesy of the owners Bryan & Savita

  • Ride on the Pump Trolley or enjoy the Wickham Trolley

  • Enjoy light refreshments or a homemade curry!

  • Good spot for viewing passing trains or to chill out and enjoy a picnic.

At Cheltenham Race Course:

  • Original 1912 ticket office open

  • Snacks by Tracks refreshments

  • Catch the shuttle bus from Cheltenham Spa mainline railway station to our Cheltenham Race Course station. Bus timetable available here

This is a ticketed event, with entry available by purchasing passes in advance online or from our Booking Office upon arrival at our stations.

Unfortunately, platform tickets are not available during this event. We kindly ask for your support by purchasing a wristband to enjoy the full event experience.
