The GWSR can offer you a chance to have your love one remembered in perpetuity with a Commemorative Plaque attached to one of the anchor points on the repair of the Stanway Viaduct
As well as having the knowledge that a plaque has been attached to the viaduct, you will receive a photograph of the plague in situ, and a facsimile to keep at home.
Your donation will go towards the upkeep of this iconic structure.
During the winter of 23/24, the track was removed from the Viaduct deck and the line handed over to a contractor to begin work.
During the removal of ballast and previous waterproofing layers, cracks running the length of the viaduct were discovered in the parapets, needing additional funds to repair.
