Customers Travelling with the GWSR from Cheltenham Racecourse Station
Thursday 5 March – Sunday 15 March 2026 (inclusive)
During the run up and packing down of Cheltenham race week in March, access to Cheltenham Racecourse will operate under a controlled “lockdown” arrangement, as in previous years.
All customers travelling with the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway from Cheltenham Racecourse Station during this period are kindly requested to present their pre-booked train ticket to stewards on the drive before proceeding to the station.
This measure is in place to ensure smooth and secure access for all visitors during the race meeting period. We thank you for your cooperation and wish you a pleasant journey.
