We are delighted to launch our evening Gin Train, in conjunction with Cotswold Gin.
Join us for an evening of gin sampling as you travel through the beautiful Cotswold Countryside. Meet the Founder - Dan Szor owner of Cotswolds Distillery will be on board. Dan will share the distillery’s story and lead a guided tasting of the range. You will be served a grazing platter to compliment your gin. You will have the opportunity to purchase a wide range of other soft and alcoholic drinks from your table during your journey. Please bring cash with you for this, as wi-fi sometimes doesn't work on our vintage trains.
You will also have the opportunity to purchase a wide range of full size Cotswold Gin products whilst you are on the train.
On arrival at Toddington you will be met by the train manager who will advise you in which coach your seats are located. The train depart from Toddington platform one promptly. When we get to Cheltenham Race Course, the loco will run round and you will return to Toddington for 9.15pm. The fare includes your gin samples, train ride and a sharing grazing board. There is an additional charge of £1.50 for posting your tickets. Please indicate when you book, if you require a vegetarian or gluten free grazing board.

Please be aware we do not offer children's tickets and do not recommend this service for children. Gin will only be served to those over the age of 18.
Seats on our gin train must be booked in advance. The last date for booking is ten working days before the train departs. Please note there are no concessionary rates for these trains.
We allocate all seating in advance on these trains so if you want to sit with other passengers who have booked separately please email admin.clerk@gwsr.com. If you are unable to book online, please ring 01242 621405. so we can reserve your seats. You can also pay by card over the telephone.
Passengers are asked not to bring their own refreshments on this service.
Dogs, other than assistance dogs, are not allowed on this service.
We are able to accommodate passengers with mobility difficulties or who are wheelchair users but suitable seating is limited. Please email admin.clerk@gwsr.com to outline your requirements before placing your booking so we can help you enjoy your visit.

47376 is owned by The Brush Type 4 Fund and is a permanent resident on the GWR. The Brush Type 4 Fund was formed in 1992 and, in November 2002, bought No 47376. The loco was transported to the GWR in 2003 after receiving a replacement engine at Ashchurch from sister loco No 47295.

A class 37/0 Diesel Electric Locomotive, is owned by four individuals who are both Growler Group members and active working members of the GWR diesel department and is a permanent resident on the GWR. 37248 came to Toddington in 2010 and has undergone an extensive refurbishment including the provision of steam heating and a return to BR green.

A privately owned and is a permanent resident on the GWR. 24081 was preserved in 1981 and has remained operational throughout its life in preservation. Its bogie refurbishment is now complete and the loco is fit for service.
