ADVANCE BOOKING IS NOT ESSENTIAL TO TRAVEL ON THE GWR BUT DOES SAVE TIME WHEN ARRIVING AT YOUR DEPARTURE STATION ON THE DAY.   You can still choose to buy your tickets on the day from our booking offices.

Please note, standard travel tickets are valid for any blue, green or red timetable days but are not valid for special events, for which special fares may apply.  These days are marked gold in the timetable and you can check them here. Click here to buy your standard travel tickets.

Tickets for the GWR 175 gala are now available here or by clicking on the logo to the left. Tickets are on sale until 5pm on 24th May to allow for processing of the orders and unfortunately due to the expected numbers of visitors tickets ordered online cannot be collected from the booking office on the day.

Fish and chips tickets are now available to buy online also.

Day out with Thomas tickets are available here.

Tickets will be printed out at the GWR and posted to you.

As tickets become available for special events they will be advertised on the website and links will appear on this page.
