The recent annual sponsored walk between Toddington and Broadway produced over 230 intrepid adventurers who enjoyed glorious weather during their journey. The walk has raised in excess of £5,000. The first contract has been placed for work to start on rebuilding the collapsed Gotherington embankment. Malcolm Temple explains how the work will progress and why fund raising is important. This weekend, 9th to 11th July, presents a bumper event with the combined Summer Diesel Gala and Bus Rally. The diesels on rail will be running Friday, Saturday and Sunday while on Sunday only, over 22 buses (mostly powered by diesel), many from the steam-to-diesel ‘changeover’ era of the 1960s, will cram the Toddington car park. The event also sees trains running once again over spectacular Stanway viaduct - Stanway viaduct, please respect our neighbours
