Here are some photographs that really do bring home the fact that Chicken Curve – which suffered a catastrophic failure in January 2011 – has given problems to the Honeybourne Line’s predecessors over the years: infact, as far back as the 1920s.

Last night (5th February 2011) at the Heritage Railway Association’s AGM, Cotswold Steam Preservation Ltd was awarded the HRA / Steam Railway Readers’ Award of 2010 for restoration of Churchward 2-8-0 no. 2807, which was restored at Toddington.
£7.5m tram vision

Cheltenham MP Martin Horwood is urging Gloucestershire County Coucil to bid for a £7.5m tram system along the former Honeybouren Line trackbed between Cheltenham Lansdowne and the racecourse - a scheme that has been discussed on and off for some years.
