Trade and preservation stands
Traders are now being invited to take space at GWR175, the
Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway's big celebration of the
175th anniversary of the Great Western Railway. A
range of stand spaces is available for all or some days during the
nine-day event, which runs from 29th May to
6th June at Toddington and Winchcombe.
The Honeybourne Line's GWR175 event - which will undoubtedly be
the leading celebration of this significant milestone in the
history of the Great Western Railway - is likely to attract many
thousands of visitors. There will be a host of Swindon-designed
and/or built locomotives operating over the 10-mile railway as well
as a range of static locomotives, including the broad-gauge replica
of 'Iron Duke' from the National Railway Museum. Models up to
15-inch gauge, locomotive nameplates, a railwayana valuation
service, auction, entertainment: to say nothing of trade and
preservation group stands will give plenty for visitors to see and
enjoy.
