Getting to the GWR

Travelling by car

Please follow the AA road signs to Toddington - unfortunately, because of the recent landslip Cheltenham Racecourse station is temporarily closed.  There is no parking at Gotherington (the halt is served by narrow unclassified roads and a footpath) and because the yard is being used for various attractions, there is no parking at Winchcombe either.

Parking is in the field on the Stow side of Toddington station and the entrance is indicated by AA signs.  If the field is full, a second field, opposite the Pheasant pub on the B4326 Winchcombe road will be used for overflow and it also will be AA signed.

We will be respectfully waving buckets for donations to the charities we are supporting.

Disabled visitors should go to the main station entrance and ask for assistance.

Travelling by public transport

We are delighted to say that a bus service will operate from Cheltenham Spa rail station, stopping in the town centre and Racecourse Park & Ride before going on to Toddington.  Click here for full details and to download a copy of the timetable.  We will be asking for a donation of £2 to defray the cost of the bus service and we are grateful to Stagecoach for making the service available.
