This event brings the curtain down on our events celebrating 200 years of passenger railways.

We offer a range of tickets from 1 and 2 day tickets that can be purchased in advance or on the day. Please note, shareholder tickets are not accepted at this event.

Things to see and do

An intensive timetable will be operating over the full length of the line with goods trains, local stopping services including at Hayles Abbey Halt, and non-stop expresses.

We are running different locos on different days - please note - D6948 & 20137 will be running on Saturday only and 45149 & 47105 are only running on Sunday.

At Broadway:

At Toddington:

• Locomotive sheds open to view current projects

• Trade stands

• Goods train brake van rides - A unique way to experience the line, ride on the brake van for a different view. First come first served, an additional ticket is required costing £10, pay on the brake van. Over 16s only.

• Footplate rides - Treat yourself to something special and purchase a pre-booked footplate ride on one of our steam engines. Book now.

• Visit the Cotswold Halt Cafe

• Toddington narrow gauge railway operating

• Visit the GWRT Office - we are open for our visitors to come and talk to us about Membership, Volunteering, and the viaduct appeal.

At Winchcombe:

• Carriage & Wagon workshops open to view projects

• Viewing area beyond C&W workshops

• Griddle & Coffeepot Café

• Discovery coach and model railway coach

At Gotherington:

• Good spot for viewing passing trains

At Cheltenham:

• Steam loco cab visits

• Connecting bus service with Cheltenham Spa on Saturday and Sunday
